Maritime Lighthouse Amateur Radio Group promotes the activation of lighthouses in Atlantic Canada. We also encourage and support lighthouse related activities worldwide. Lighthouses are evolving from their main role as aids to marine navigation to integral parts of the communities where they are located. HAM’s have a unique opportunity to engage those interested in the historical significance of lighthouses while enhancing the profile of amateur radio.
